Hagar asked herself, "Have I really seen God and lived to tell about it?" So she called the LORD, who had spoken to her, "A God Who Sees." For she said: Verily here have I seen the hinder parts of him that seeth me.Īnd she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou art a God that seeth: for she said, Have I even here looked after him that seeth me? Hagar thought, "Have I really seen God and lived to tell about it?" So from then on she called him, "The God Who Sees Me."Īnd she called the name of the Lord that spoke unto her: Thou the God who hast seen me. So she called the LORD who spoke to her: The God Who Sees, for she said, “In this place, have I actually seen the One who sees me?”Īnd she called the name of Jehovah that spake unto her, Thou art a God that seeth: for she said, Have I even here looked after him that seeth me?Īnd she called the name of LORD JEHOVAH who spoke with her and she said: “You are God in a vision”, because she said, “Behold, also I saw the vision after it saw me.”Īnd she called the name of the Lord God who spoke to her, Thou art God who seest me for she said, For I have openly seen him that appeared to me. So she named the LORD who spoke to her: “You are El-roi,” for she said, “In this place, have I actually seen the one who sees me? ” Then she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, “You are God Who Sees” for she said, “Have I not even here remained alive after seeing Him ?”
Then she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, “Thou art a God who sees” for she said, “Have I even remained alive here after seeing Him?” Then she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, “You are a God who sees" for she said, “Have I even remained alive here after seeing Him?” Then she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, “You are a God who sees me” for she said, “Have I even seen Him here and lived after He saw me?” Then she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, You-Are- the-God-Who-Sees for she said, “Have I also here seen Him who sees me?” So Hagar gave this name to the LORD who had spoken to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “Here I have seen the One who sees me!”Īnd she called the name of the LORD that spake unto her, Thou God seest me: for she said, Have I also here looked after him that seeth me?
So she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, “You are a God of seeing,” for she said, “Truly here I have seen him who looks after me.” She said, “You are the God who sees me.” She also said, “Have I truly seen the One who sees me?” Thereafter, Hagar used another name to refer to the LORD, who had spoken to her. She gave this name to the LORD who spoke to her: “You are the God who sees me,” for she said, “I have now seen the One who sees me.”
